Job summary

IPEX is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Lynchburg, VA plant to lead the night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while supporting development initiatives and cost-control efforts.

You will supervise, troubleshoot, and optimize labor and equipment use, coordinate with maintenance and other teams, and mentor staff to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory/lead capacity.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Injection Molding including processes, raw materials, tooling, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily night shift production activities to meet safety, quality, and output targets.
• Optimize labor, equipment, and workflow to execute production schedules.
• Lead shift transitions and communicate priorities and updates.
• Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Coach and develop production staff; support recruitment and training.
• Ensure ISO compliance and accurate documentation.
