Job summary

RRD is seeking a press assistant for the 3rd shift in Wisconsin. You will verify job specs, set up presses, and monitor paper flow while maintaining safety and quality. The role supports maintenance and color adjustment activities, with a focus on efficient run preparation.

The position offers a $19.00–$22.22 hourly range, with a $2 shift differential and comprehensive benefits. Prior printing experience and teamwork are valued for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a printing environment preferred.
• Some experience in the operation of various hand tools preferred.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the press for a run by verifying job specs and setting up the press accordingly.
• Inspects fountain solution, inking systems, rolls of paper and related reel mechanisms.
• Maintains inventory of paper and records usage/spoilage on SPC report.
• Ensures roll of paper is unwrapped, mounted and ready to splice.
• Monitors paper flow and prepares/releases new rolls as needed.
• Works with press operators and other Press Assistants in preventative maintenance.
• Assists maintenance personnel in troubleshooting and repairs to press.
• May assist with make-readies; may adjust ink/solvent/varnish for color.
• Follows safety policies, including hazardous waste handling and lockout/tagout rules.
• Performs other duties and participates in special projects; follows ISO Quality Manual.
• All Solution Delivery employees follow documented processes.
