Job summary

RRD is seeking a 1st shift press operator in Wisconsin (Cudahy) to set up, adjust, operate and maintain various press equipment. The role requires precision, color adjustments, and routine preventive maintenance to meet quality specs.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifications.
• Ability to read job specifications and determine press usage and settings.
• Skill to perform routine maintenance and make precise adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks like hanging plates, installing cylinders and aligning plates.
• Make color corrections and adjust press to meet quality specs.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press; replace worn parts as needed.
• Perform periodic maintenance as recommended by manufacturer.
