Job summary

Southern Champion Tray is seeking an Assistant Press Operator for the Night shift (Offset Sheet) in Chattanooga, TN. The role requires safely setting up and operating the press to meet running speeds, following job tickets, and assisting with feeder setup and press maintenance.

You will collaborate with team members, ensure quality standards, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in a fast-paced production area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Must have basic computer skills and mechanical ability.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the press to achieve the target speed for each run.
• Review job ticket instructions for printing specs and supplies.
• Prepare stock and materials for the next job at the feeder.
• Load feeder and check sheets for defects.
• Assist in press setup and maintenance as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow 5S and safety policies.
• Communicate with team members and interact with customers during press checks.
