Job summary

Southern Champion Tray (SCT) is seeking an Offset Press Lead for the 3rd shift in Chattanooga, TN. Under the Print Manager's direction, you will monitor safety, setup, quality and operation of sheetfed/offset presses and the accompanying processes to meet customer specifications.

You will coordinate production schedules, supervise operators, ensure timely make-readies and maintain SCT quality standards while supporting a safe, efficient pressroom environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years progressive print production experience in a press environment.
• Experience operating offset/sheet fed presses (KBA preferred).
• Experience supervising others is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety, setup, quality and operation of print and sheeting operations.
• Coordinate production schedules for sheetfed/offset presses and sheeter operations.
• Support print crews to produce high-quality jobs to customer specifications.
• Review and communicate production and run status with shifts to ensure understanding of schedules.
• Oversee proper make-readies and adherence to run speeds; ensure quality checks and press approvals.
