Job summary

Southern Champion Tray (SCT) is seeking an Offset Press Lead for the 3rd shift in Chattanooga, TN. The role focuses on monitoring safety, setup, and print/sheeting operations while coordinating the production schedule and supporting the print crews to meet customer specifications.

The candidate will oversee quality checks, provide coaching to operators, and ensure timely communication of run status. Prior press experience and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years progressive print production experience preferred.
• 3+ years operating offset/sheet fed presses desired.
• Basic computer skills and mechanical ability needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety, setup, quality, and operation of sheetfed/offset presses.
• Coordinate production schedule and communicate with shift leaders.
• Ensure quality checks and press approvals for all jobs.
• Oversee training and onboarding of new team members.
• Respond to inquiries about job progress, ink availability, and maintenance.
