Job summary

Southern Champion Tray is seeking an Offset Press Lead for the 3rd shift in Chattanooga, TN. This full-time role oversees sheetfed/offset printing operations, quality, and production scheduling to meet customer deadlines.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in print production, 3+ years on offset/sheet-fed presses (KBA preferred), and strong leadership and communication skills. Weekend/overnight availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; minimum of 5 years of progressive print production experience in a press operator or related role.
• 3+ years experience operating offset / sheet fed conventional printing presses; folding carton industry experience is a plus.
• Experience leading or supervising others is a plus; basic computer skills and ability to use software; mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety, setup, quality and operation of print and sheeting operations.
• Coordinate and oversee production schedules for sheetfed/offset presses and sheeter operations.
• Provide coaching and guidance to operators; ensure quality checks and press approvals for all jobs.
