Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a vocational trade preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility or vocational certification preferable.
• Experience with measuring equipment (microscopes, calipers, micrometers, CMM, interferometer) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and own optical processing equipment.
• Handle delicate optical components and visually identify abnormalities.
• Maintain 5S area standards for a clean, organized workspace.
• Identify unsafe conditions and quality concerns promptly.
• Support area and factory schedule execution as part of the team.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering and Manufacturing Management to improve efficiency.
• Learn and apply skills to tackle progressively more challenging products.
• Inspect glass surfaces and map defects; clean optical surfaces.
