Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a 3rd Shift Operations Leader to oversee daily plant operations, ensuring reliability and consistency on the production line, including service shops.

The role requires supervising hourly employees, coordinating with teams, and presenting metrics to leadership. Qualifications include an associate degree with supervisory experience or a relevant combination of education and Military Training, and a willingness to work the 3rd shift and overtime.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• High School Diploma / GED with minimum 4 years in Manufacturing, 2 in supervisory role or Military Training
• Willingness to work 3rd shift (11p-7a) and overtime
• This position is 100% onsite in Schenectady, NY

Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees.
• Resolve problems through application of acquired expertise.
• Collaborate with business unit; explain technical issues to stakeholders.
• Communicate with direct team and supervisor.
• Present to internal teams on metrics, project status and research.
• Ability to work in other operations to cover as needed
