Job summary

Wolfspeed in Marcy, NY is seeking a Process Technician for Photolithography (Back End Nights). This role performs tests, tool qualifications and recoveries for the photolithography group, monitors line operations, and compiles records and graphs for engineering review.

You will collaborate with Engineering to qualify processes, document DOEs, and help achieve yield and cycle-time targets while working a 12-hour back-end night shift on a 3on-4off-4on-3off schedule.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or at least 1 year of experience in a technical role.
• Ability to work in ISO 5 (class 100) clean room, lift up to 25 lbs, and stand or walk most of a shift.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Engineering team to develop and qualify new processes and new tool sets.
• Characterizing, documenting and possibly presenting data based around design of experiments (DOE).
• Report and document process issues and equipment malfunctions; take corrective action with Process Engineers & Equipment Maintenance.
• Handle material dispositions and work to resolve any lot issues that may arise.
• Assist in creating new procedures and refining existing ones.
• Work collaboratively to achieve quarterly yield and cycle time goals.
