Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a photolithography process technician (PT) to perform tests, tool qualifications and recoveries for the photolithography process engineering group. The PT monitors and guides line operators, processes test runs, and prepares data for engineering review.

This role operates on a 12-hour back-end night shift with a 3on-4off-4on-3off schedule and involves working in an ISO 5 clean room, lifting up to 25 lbs, and standing for long periods. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Associates degree OR at least 1 year of experience in a technical role
• Ability to work in ISO 5 (class 100) clean room for extended periods of time, lift up to 25 lbs frequently, and stand or walk most of a shift

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering to develop and qualify new processes and tool sets; characterize, document, and possibly present data from DOE studies.
• Report and document process issues and equipment malfunctions; take corrective action with Process Engineers & Equipment Maintenance.
• Handle material dispositions and resolve lot issues; assist in creating and refining procedures.
• Collaborate to achieve quarterly yield and cycle time goals.
