Job summary

Wolfspeed, Inc. in Marcy, NY seeks a technician to provide process sustaining support in an automated semiconductor line, with a Thin Films focus.

The role operates a 12-hour day shift on a 3on-4off-4on-3off schedule for Back End Nights. You will work with Engineering to develop and qualify new processes and tool sets, document DOE data, report issues, and coordinate with Maintenance to resolve non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineer Technology (EET) or MET; or relevant technical field.
• Understanding of structured problem solving using 5Y/8D; MS Word, Excel, and Access experience.
• Strong written and oral communication; strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering to develop and qualify new processes and tool sets.
• Document DOE data and report process issues or equipment malfunctions.
• Coordinate with Equipment Maintenance to resolve non-conformances and assist in refining procedures.
