Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs venipunctures according to policy and collects timed, blood culture, pediatric and neonatal specimens.
• Identifies patients and labels specimens per policy; verifies patient identity.
• Prepares and processes specimens for laboratory analysis; handles urine and send-out specimens.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; communicates with supervisor.
• Operates LIS and EPIC registration systems for orders, entry, and patient data as required.
