Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician for a full-time night shift. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitorVital signs, and support the bedside RN in a fast-paced hospital environment.

A patient-centered approach and strong communication are essential. As a PCA, you will help with mobility, keep patient areas clean and orderly, and ensure safety through alarms and proper patient handling.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.
• Non-licensed team member providing bedside care under RN supervision.
• Ability to perform activities of daily living and mobility assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living and mobility assistance to designated patients.
• Maintain patient safety and supervise patient surroundings using standard precautions.
• Conduct continuous observation including suicide prevention as part of patient care.
• Support the patient care team and assist the RN with clinical tasks as directed.
