Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Hospital Operations Supervisor to manage patient transport staff on the 3rd shift at Aurora facility. This full-time role oversees scheduling, performance coaching, and adherence to Joint Commission standards, with a focus on safety and service quality.

Typical hours are 10:00pm–7:30am, with weekend on-call rotation. The ideal candidate has 3 years of hospitality or related experience and proven leadership, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate

Qualifications

Experience leading staff in hospitality or related field.
Strong management and interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral and written communication is essential.

Responsibilities

Guide staff development through instruction and quality assurance inspections.
Coordinate master schedules and vacation/holiday time with the Manager.
Review payroll time records and attendance; resolve unusual absences or tardiness.
Test and recommend process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct inspections to ensure quality of products, systems, and methods.
Set short/long-term goals and establish priorities with the Manager.
Maintain records of material distribution to meet Joint Commission standards.
Address safety issues and department problems; propose solutions.
Involve HR responsibilities including coaching, performance reviews, and morale.
