Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where nursing services are provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; telehealth may require practice in the client location state.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Knowledge of patient safety, EHR documentation, and adherence to ANA ethics and departmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Promotes a culture of safety and maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols; participates in professional development.
