Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - NCBH Nursing Float Pool is a full-time role offering 36 hours per week with night shifts from 7pm to 7am. High school diploma or GED required, HeartSaver CPR certification, and prior patient care experience preferred.

Daily duties include maintaining patient safety, following care team instructions, and addressing patient needs while collaborating with nurses and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a secure and safe patient environment by remaining in the patient room.
• Obtain patient care instructions from the patient care team.
• Remain observant of patient activity and notify the care team of any changes.
• Notify the care team of any patient requests.
• Respond as directed by the care team to address patient basic care or safety needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
