Job summary

Atrium Health in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Nursing Float Pool teammate to support patient care under RN supervision. This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and a focus on patient safety.

You will work 3 shifts of 12 hours per week (7am–7pm), totaling 36 hours, with a pay range of $18.85 to $28.30 per hour. Previous patient care experience is preferred; benefits include paid time off and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; prior patient care experience preferred.
• Ability to monitor patient safety and maintain concentration amid interruptions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a secure and safe patient environment by staying in the patient room.
• Obtain patient care instructions from care team.
• Monitor patient activity and notify care team of changes.
• Notify care team of patient requests.
• Respond to care team directions for basic care or safety needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
