Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking an experienced RN for the Nursing Float Pool in Winston-Salem. You will provide ICU-level care across multiple inpatient units, delivering safe, patient-centered care and collaborating with diverse care teams.

The role requires a Board-approved nursing program graduate, at least 2 years ICU experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification. Night shift, 7p-7a, three 12-hour shifts offered with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific as applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to adapt across multiple units.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered critical care using the nursing process, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practice—monitoring complex patient conditions and administering treatments across multiple Med Surg units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across units to drive optimal outcomes, promote safety, maintain documentation, support communication and delegation.
