Intermountain Health in Provo, UT is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team on the Acute Care unit. You will perform essential patient care tasks, monitor patients, and assist with unit coordination.

The role requires CNA and BLS certifications, strong communication, and basic computer skills. Evening/night/weekend shifts are included with a starting pay of $18.40 per hour, plus benefits.

Competenze

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care, including toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, ambulation, comfort, and other patient needs.
• Report and record patient care findings and data in a timely manner; notify RN of changes in patient condition.
• May perform telemetry duties and function as a patient care attendant by monitoring patients and collaborating with the team.
• Transport medications from the delivery system to the RN as required.
• Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• May assume Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities (phones, orders, records, supplies).
• Implement plan of care as delegated and perform duties within Scope of Practice.
