Intermountain Health in Murray, UT, is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team during the day shift. The role includes basic patient care, telemetry as required, and collaboration with RNs to ensure high-quality service.

The position requires CNA and BLS credentials, strong communication, and computer literacy. Training will cover unit coordination duties and safety protocols in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Competenze

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice or Utah.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing Course with passing grade within the past two years.

Mansioni

• Provide basic patient care, including toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, ambulation, comfort measures.
• Report changes in patient condition promptly and seek qualified assistance as needed.
• Monitor patients and assist with telemetry and other unit duties as assigned.
• Transport medications from the delivery system to the RN on the clinical unit.
• Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• May perform Health Unit Coordinator tasks such as answering phones and managing unit records.
