Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team on the night shift at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado. The role includes delivering basic patient care, documenting findings, and potentially serving as Health Unit Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado CNA certification required.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
• Basic computer literacy is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: enrollment in nursing school.

Responsabilités

• Deliver basic patient care such as toileting, bathing, and mobility.
• Document patient care findings and report changes promptly.
• Monitor patients and assist telemetry as required.
• Transport medications to the RN and assist on the unit.
• Coordinate with the RN and team to ensure optimal care.
• May serve as Health Unit Coordinator: answer phones, transcribe orders, manage records.
• Follow safety policies and respond to emergencies.
