Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician - Nursing Assistant for Swedish Hospital in Chicago. This full-time night shift (36 hrs/week) requires direct patient support, accurate vitals documentation, and collaboration with the nursing team.

The role asks for CNA certification or accredited nursing assistant training (or equivalent experience), CPR, and strong communication with patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or accredited nursing assistant training completed or equivalent.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on assigned unit under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Communicate with patients, families, and health-care team respectfully.
• Document vital signs and glucose in the EMR accurately.
• Assist with hygiene, mobility, and elimination needs of patients.
• Ensure safety and use of standard precautions and PPE.
