Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital in northern Illinois is seeking a Nursing Assistant for 90% FTE evening/night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am) with rotating weekends and holidays. The CNA will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital, with 12-hour shifts and a schedule including weekends and holidays.

Compensation packages include shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay, plus comprehensive benefits such as PTO, medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, paternity leave, adoption

Qualifications

• Must be listed as active and eligible in the Illinois Registry for CNA.
• High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred
• Computer experience. Preferred
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of fundamentals of nursing course and be registered on the Illinois Department of Health Registry or a nurse who has completed RN or LPN Training in another country and completion of EKG. Required
• Bi-Annual CPR designation by recommended renewal date. Required
