Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician – Nursing Assistant for the Neuro/Stroke Tele unit at Swedish Hospital in Chicago. This full-time role covers night shifts (7p–7:30a) with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

You will assist with patient care, monitoring, and documentation while maintaining safety and confidentiality. Responsibilities include vital signs, hygiene, mobility, nutrition support, and room preparation under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or accredited training completed.
• CPR certification required by American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Document vital signs and care in the EMR accurately.
• Assist with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and safety.
• Prepare rooms and assist with admissions and discharge routines.
• Follow safety protocols and report changes to the RN.
