Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs and recording intake and output.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Prioritizes and completes unit work under varying conditions.
• Acts as liaison between patient care units and other departments.
• Answers calls politely and communicates information to staff/family/patients.

Education

Certified Nursing Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant / Emergency Medical Technician or nursing school students with one semester of clinical completed
