Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (Resource Team) at Northwest Community Hospital in Illinois. The role supports nurses by performing essential patient care tasks, patient safety checks, and routine comfort measures on multiple medical units.

The position requires CNA training, current BLS certification, and strong teamwork. Per diem night shifts: 11 pm–7:30 am, with 48 hours over six weeks and limited weekend work.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• CNA certification required.
• Nursing clinical rotation in medical/surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification (Healthcare Provider) required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors; answer call lights and phones.
• Assist in ambulation, transfers and safe patient handling.
• Provide basic nursing care (ADLs) under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers; room setup and orientation.
