Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a patient-care-focused professional to assist with daily living activities and clinical tasks under RN/LPN supervision. The role supports vital signs, basic nursing procedures, and phlebotomy/ECG duties where certified.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, plus a PCT/CNA/RN fundamentals pathway. BLS is required, and prior phlebotomy experience is preferred for ED positions. This is a full-time on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PCT course or RN fundamentals course, CNA program, or 1 year of direct patient care.
• BLS certification required; phlebotomy training/education for ED positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and plan of care under supervision.
• Take vital signs, perform point-of-care testing, bladder scanning, and Foley care as assigned.
• May perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified; communicate changes to RN/LPN.
• Support patient education and participate in safety and infection control.
• Assist in orientation of new hires and participate in improvement initiatives.
