Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking a part-time/per diem Phlebotomy/Nurse Assistant role for night shifts. The position requires phlebotomy experience, BLS certification, and EKG familiarity is preferred.

Under RN/LPN supervision, you will support daily living activities, vital signs, and patient care planning with a focus on safety and quality care. Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and relevant training such as a PCT course or CNA program.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed a PCT course, CNA program, or RN fundamentals course.

Responsibilities

• Supports activities of daily living and plan of care.
• Communicates with healthcare team, patients and families.
• Performs vital signs, point-of-care testing, bladder scanning, and Foley care as directed.
• May perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified.
• Identifies and reports changes in patient status to RN/LPN.
• Reinforces education on care and safety for patient and family.
• Participates in patient satisfaction initiatives and quality improvement.
• Assists in orientation of new hires.
