Job summary

Northwest-Health-Porte is seeking a Part Time Nights Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and help keep patients safe and comfortable in a fast-paced acute care setting.

The role requires basic patient care skills, strong organization, and effective communication. CNA preferred and BCLS within 90 days of hire is expected to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in acute care or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• CNA certification preferred or equivalent experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Record vital signs and report findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Aid patients with meals, bathing, grooming, mobility, and hygiene.
• Assist with patient positioning and mobility aids.
• Follow infection control and PPE protocols and maintain professional communication.
