Job summary

Northwest Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision in an acute care setting. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and support communication within the care team.

The role requires basic patient care knowledge, strong organizational and multitasking skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and safety protocols. BCLS within 90 days is required; CNA or CPCT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) within 90 days of hire required.
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a safe, organized environment.
• Collect and record patient data including vital signs and intake/output; report to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Support patients with meals, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and mobility aid assistance.
• Assist with patient positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform blood glucose monitoring; document results.
