Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Patient Care Technician for Northwest Community Hospital on the night shift (11 pm–7:30 am). Per diem with 48 hours across six weeks and two weekend shifts per period; floating across medical units to support nursing staff.

The role involves assisting with ADLs, patient rounding, and basic nursing tasks under RN/LPN supervision, ensuring patient safety and comfort. BLS certification is required, CNA training preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or training preferred.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answer call lights and phones.
• Perform hourly rounding and attend to patient needs.
• Assist with ADLs, ambulation, and safe transfers.
• Support admissions, discharges and room transfers per hospital procedure.
• Document care activities and notify nursing staff of changes.
• Restock equipment and supplies and maintain clean patient areas.
