Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCA) for a full-time night shift. The PCA provides bedside care and assists with activities of daily living, mobility, and safety while supporting the RN in clinical tasks.

Responsibilities include vital sign checks, patient comfort, and maintaining clean patient environments. Requires current BLS certification and the ability to work in a high-demand hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide activities of daily living assistance.
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork with RN and care team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Obtain vital signs and report abnormalities to RN.
• Assist with meals, baths, and hygiene while ensuring patient safety.
• Maintain clean, organized patient surroundings and document care performed.
