Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy/Patient Care Support role at our Mount Holly location. Under RN/LPN direction, you will assist with daily living activities and plan of care, perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified, and maintain high professional standards.

The position emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and ongoing education, with a night shift schedule and 24 hours per week. Benefits include health coverage and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience required or preferred in a hospital setting.
• Must have strong communication skills and ability to assist with daily living activities.
• Experience with vital signs, basic care tasks, and teamwork with RN/LPN is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
• Perform or assist with vital signs, phlebotomy, and EKGs if certified, documenting results.
• Support patient safety and education, and communicate changes to nursing staff.
• Participate in orientation of new hires and quality improvement initiatives.
