Mercy Hospital Washington is looking for a Patient Care Associate to support patients under the supervision of an RN or LPN in the Surgical & Orthopedic Unit. This full-time night shift position emphasizes hands-on patient care, comfort, and teamwork with a strong, compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; CNA/CPTC certification or enrollment preferred.
• No prior experience required – training provided.
• BLS Certification required within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs in the electronic medical record.
• Assist patients with meals, hygiene, toileting, ambulation, and transport.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
• Perform phlebotomy and blood cultures, enteral feedings, wound care, IV/Foley removal.
• Provide tracheostomy care and suctioning.
