Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) for the Night shift in our Medical/Surgical unit. The role supports individualized patient care under RN/LPN supervision, with a 36-hour week and weekend/holiday rotation.

A $3,000 night shift sign-on bonus is offered to eligible applicants. Join a 30-bed Med/Surg team focused on teamwork, accountability, and belonging, with opportunities for growth toward PCT and beyond.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/CPTC certification or enrollment preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document in EMR.
• Assist with meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation and transport.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
