Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for the Adult Inpatient unit at 90 Blossom Street, Boston. The role is full-time nights, 36 hours per week, with weekend requirements.

You will assist with daily living activities, vitals, and documentation in the EHR, contributing to a high-quality patient experience in a diverse medical unit. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, with preferred patient-care experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; patient-care background preferred.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and chart in EHR.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Take vitals, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration; 1:1 observation as needed.
• Document measurements in the Electronic Health Record; assist with ambulation.
• Support with meals, room upkeep, and equipment setup; report malfunctions.
