Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support daily living activities under licensed personnel. The role includes assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, and measuring vitals with charted documentation in the EHR.

You will help with mobility, feeding, and 1:1 safety monitoring, while ensuring rooms are stocked and equipment is ready. The position is onsite at 81 Highland Avenue, with a 32-hour weekly schedule and a night shift.

Qualifications

• Must have Nursing Assistant certification; BLS preferred.
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy loads.
• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living under licensed personnel.
• Document vital signs, intake/output, and glucose results in the EHR.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, and mobility, and schedule transfers.
• Stock and prepare patient rooms; manage equipment and reporting issues.
• Assist with admitting and discharging patients; support new PCA staff orientation.
• Communicate with nursing staff about patient care and condition.
