Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per Diem Patient Care Assistant for the General Medicine unit in Boston, MA. The role involves rotating day and night shifts with weekend and holiday coverage, based at 267 Charles Street.

You will assist with activities of daily living, vital signs, documentation in the EHR, and patient setup while collaborating with RNs and physicians. Qualifications include a High School Diploma (preferred), BLS, and relevant national certifications.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS, CMA/National Certification, and Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Technician credentials preferred.
• Experience in patient care or elder care 0-1 year preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs patient care-related duties including vital signs and phlebotomy.
• Documents measurements and intake in the Electronic Health Record.
• Assists with admitting and discharging patients.
• Maintains patient rooms and equipment and supports RNs and physicians.
