Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Nursing Assistant at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. The role supports RNs and the interdisciplinary team, performing patient-care functions and documenting care. Night shifts are 11 p.m.

to 7:30 a.m., with weekend/holiday rotations and a $750 sign-on bonus. Under supervision, you will assist with meals, mobility, specimen collection, and communication with staff to promote safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification preferred; LNA status preferred.
• Healthcare experience 1-2 years required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
• Typing skills and basic computer proficiency are required.
• Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care duties and document care activities.
• Assist RNs and physicians with exams and treatments as needed.
• Ensure patient rooms are stocked, equipped, and cleaned.
• Collect specimens and document related information.
• Operate and report on equipment, maintaining safety.
• Record patient data including intake/output and vitals.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff about patient care.
