Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Experience not always required.
• Licenses: BLS Certification preferred.
• Certification: Nursing Assistant (LNA) - NH Board of Nursing preferred.
• Experience: Healthcare experience 1–2 years required.
• Knowledge and Abilities: multitask under stress, medical terminology, typing and computer skills, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, lift and move patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care-related duties and clinical tasks as assigned, including vital signs, EKGs, feeding, and assisting with exams and treatments.
• Keep patient rooms stocked and clean; retrieve and set up equipment as needed.
• Document patient information: height, weight, intake/output, and glucose results.
• Assist with food tray setup and feeding when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff about patient care and condition.
• Receive and direct medical staff, patients, and visitors.

Education
