Job summary

4100 Newton-Wellesley Hospital is part of Mass General Brigham, a nonprofit dedicated to patient care, research, teaching and community service. The Patient Care Assistant II provides patient care and unit activities under the direction of the RN, including vital signs and assistance with daily living, and may perform non-clinical tasks such as reception and equipment coordination.

Qualifications include at least six months of Nursing Assistant experience or clinical rotation, and a high school

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of Nursing Assistant experience or student with at least one clinical rotation.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including vital signs and ADLs under RN supervision.
• Perform unit activities and act as receptionist when needed.
• Coordinate equipment and transport patients as required.
• Perform department-specific tasks as assigned.
