Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a Nursing Assistant or as a Nursing student currently enrolled in a formal program who has completed at least one clinical rotation or is currently enrolled in and completes the NWH Patient Care Assistant Training Program.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care such as taking vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Perform non-clinical tasks including receptionist duties, coordinating equipment, and arranging transportation.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other interdisciplinary personnel to ensure safe patient care and smooth unit operations.
