Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is hiring a Patient Care Assistant to support licensed personnel by assisting with bathing, dressing, meals, vital signs, and bringing comfort to patients.

This role includes performing basic nursing tasks and ensuring accurate documentation, with a focus on patient safety and respectful care. The position is onsite at 75 Francis Street with a night shift schedule, and a $750 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Nursing Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs (temperature, BP, pulse, respiration) and document them accurately.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and meals.
• Help patients turn, reposition in bed, and transfer to wheelchairs when needed.
• Observe health concerns and report to licensed personnel.
• Maintain hygiene and assist with toileting and feeding as required.
