Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support licensed personnel in daily patient care. You will assist with bathing, dressing, eating, and other activities of daily living, while taking vital signs and documenting in the medical record.

The role is onsite at 75 Francis Street, with a 40-hour weekly schedule and a Night shift. A $750 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible new employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Strong patient/customer service skills.
• Able to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs within established time frame.
• Completes all documentation in the medical record as required.
• Interacts with patients and families effectively.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating) and basic hygiene.
• Assists with moving patients in bed and between bed and wheelchair as needed.
• Reports health concerns to nurses.
