Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. in Boston is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support licensed staff in daily patient care tasks, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and monitoring vital signs.

You will document care activities, assist with mobility, help patients use the bathroom, and report health concerns to the nursing team. A $750 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience in patient care is 0–1 year preferred.
• Basic life support or nursing assistance credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic hygiene.
• Take vitals, document in the medical record, and communicate concerns to nurses.
• Help with turning, repositioning, and mobility, and assist with feeding if needed.
