Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support licensed staff in delivering daily patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and monitoring vitals. This on-site role is based at 75 Francis Street with an evening shift and a 40-hour work week.

You will document in the medical record, assist with transfers and mobility while maintaining patient comfort and safety. A HS diploma and relevant certifications are preferred, with a $750 sign-on bonus for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) national certification preferred.
• Massachusetts EMT-Paramedic preferred.
• Experience in patient care/elder care 1–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perfoms vital signs, weights/heights, intakes and outputs.
• Completes all documentation in the medical record.
• Interacts with patients and families effectively.
• Assists with activities of daily living and basic hygiene.
• Helps turn/reposition patients and assist with mobility.
• Reports health concerns to nurses.
