Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is hiring a Patient Care Assistant to support licensed staff in bedside care on the night shift. You will help patients with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and assist with feeding and mobility in a respectful, compassionate manner.

Responsibilities include documenting in the medical record, communicating concerns to nurses, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the shift. Onsite at 75 Francis Street, Boston MA.

Qualifications

• Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes and outputs.
• Interacts with patients and families effectively.
• Assists with basic hygiene tasks and feeding.
• Uses electronic medical records for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs and measurements.
• Document in medical record accurately and timely.
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and daily activities.
• Help patients reposition and transfer between bed and wheelchair.
• Support toileting and feeding as needed.
• Report health concerns to nurses.
