Job summary

R1 RCM is seeking a Patient Access Representative in Waco, TX to serve as the first contact for patients and ensure fast, compassionate access to care. This frontline role supports registration, verifies information, and collaborates with nurses and physicians to maintain smooth patient flow.

Night shift 7pm–7am, 4 days on and 3 days off in rotating two-week cycles, offering exposure to busy hospital environments and opportunities to grow within R1. Strong customer service skills are essential.

• Customer service experience in fast-paced healthcare environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly.
• Willing to pass background check and vaccination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and facilitate check-in across multiple systems.
• Answer phones and collect accurate patient information.
• Help ensure timely access to care by reducing registration delays.
