Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Customer Service Representative to be on-site in Austin, TX, with a Sunday to Wednesday shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

You will be the first contact for patients, handling check-in, registrations, and basic insurance verification in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You’ll work across multiple systems, answer phones, gather accurate information, and support timely access to care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient access, medical registration, or front desk a plus.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Vaccination requirements.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Register patients efficiently across multiple systems.
• Answer phones and collect accurate patient information.
